A diverse programme at the Senger Drive & Meet

The participants at this year’s Senger Drive & Meet were treated to a multi-faceted driving event packed with many attractive activities. Customers and employees of the Senger car dealership group were able to explore the versatility of the BILSTER BERG and its various driving modules to their heart’s desire – all under the professional guidance of driving instructors from Mercedes-AMG.

Located in 41 German cities and spread across eight federal states, Senger is in its 65th year of business and ranks among the top dealership groups in Germany. With such a car-savvy clientele, the state-of-the-art BILSTER BERG racetrack offers the best conditions for staging an exclusive corporate event with great sentimental value.

On the evening before the actual driving event, the organiser had already invited to a reception in the clubhouse of the BILSTER BERG. After an official welcome, the participants were given a preview of the programme for the following day. Afterwards, a delicious BBQ offered the perfect opportunity to get to know each other and make new contacts in a casual atmosphere. As the crowning highlight of the evening event, Mercedes-AMG surprised everyone with the presentation of the new GT 63S Coupé: Even before the official market launch, the customers of the Senger dealerships were given an exclusive look at the latest AMG model.

The participants of the Drive & Meet were divided into training groups the next day and distributed to the different practice sections in order to ensure the most extensive driving times possible. Most of the driving students probably felt the greatest adrenaline rush during the fast laps on the 4.2 kilometre long BILSTER BERG. For the most part, it was all about controlled driving, exploring the limits and getting to know one’s own vehicle safely. They received tips from an experienced team of instructors – among them the well-known German rally driver and former junior world champion Aaron Burkart.

The programme included further driving exercises on the artificially irrigated dynamic surface of the BILSTER BERG. There again, under the supervision of the instructors, drifting exercises were completed on a wet and therefore slippery road surface. The participants were also asked to master a demanding slalom course in the shortest possible time without making any mistakes. The wide-ranging programme was rounded off by the AMG Performance Tour: the participants of the Senger Drive & Meet were guided through the picturesque country roads of the Teutoburg Forest in the surroundings of the BILSTER BERG following a predefined route. Those who wanted to use the tour for a test drive were able to choose from a wide variety of AMG models.

Senger and AMG-Mercedes have captured the impressions in high-quality video. You can get your own impression of the diverse possibilities on the BILSTER BERG right here:
