Full house at the BILSTER BERG

A Sunday breakfast at TURN ONE, Coffee, Cake & Cars and an off-road and kart slalom training session – all in glorious sunshine.

Full house at the BILSTER BERG on the weekend of April 7th and 8th: a sumptuous Sunday breakfast on the terrace of TURN ONE – for all those who wanted to get a taste of racing atmosphere and experience racing cars of different categories and eras in action.

The popular breakfast session at TURN ONE has quickly become a visitor attraction at the BILSTER BERG – with a direct view of the start and finish line and the track sections “Kugelkopf” and “Fledermaushügel”. With fresh coffee, rolls and live cooking, the guests were offered a magnificent view of the fast-paced action on the course. On this sunny Sunday, the breakfast event was once again fully booked.

The Sunday breakfast is by no means the only thing on the agenda: Coffee, Cake & Cars was the next highlight in the afternoon, a public experience that is only available after a simple online registration proces. As suggested by the title of the event, guests were able to enjoy coffee, cake and free admission and take a look at the racetrack as well as the high-performance racing cars.

For those who didn’t just want to watch the event while enjoying coffee and cake, but wanted to delve deeper into the action, the BILSTER BERG provided the best opportunities: For example, to prove oneself with one’s own off-roader or SUV during the Sunday off-road training around the 4 kilometres of the traced course. Depending on the vehicle, equipment and driving skills, a professional instructor taught the participants the basics that are necessary to master even the biggest off-road challenges. Inclined drives, steep descents, mud and water crossings were all part of the curriculum. It’s not about speed or who arrives first when tackling a challenge with like-minded people – obstacles are avoided together, impassabilities are mastered as a team.

On this sunny Saturday afternoon, the young racing talents of the local Automobilclub Bad Driburg also got their money’s worth. Away from the busy race track, curious visitors were able to follow the kart slalom training of the youth department live at the BILSTER BERG. Under perfect conditions, the young participants demonstrated their talent and driving skills. The AC Bad Driburg offers free trial training sessions for kids who want to get to know the sport of karting. Please visit the club’s website for all important information on dates and contact persons for the youth kart training.

After a varied weekend on and off the racetrack, accompanied by plenty of sunshine and a diverse agenda, all visitors were able to let a fantastic weekend come to an end.
